Instead of grossing me out, this actually encouraged me and I kept filing away until my heels looked normal again. It’s best to follow this sandblasting with something highly occlusive, like Vaseline. This locks in skin’s natural moisture and helps prevent the drying and hardening that lead to the unsightly cracks.
